FIR registered against ZEO Anantnag, forest official and challan produced in trap case

1- Forest Official in ACB net

Today on 24th June 2019 a complaint was received against Shri Ghulam Mohammad Parray, Jr. Assistant DFO Office Awantipora, Pulwama alleging therein that the above named official has demanded Rs. 7000/- for renewal of License for Joinery Mill at Srinagar. Accordingly, a trap team was constituted and case FIR No. 05/2019 in ACB South Kashmir Srinagar registered. The trap team arrested the accused Jr. Assistant and recovered the bribe money and further investigation is going on in the instant case.



2- Challan Produced by ACB in Trap Case

Today on 24-06-2019, Anti-Corruption Bureau Kashmir presented charge sheet (Challan) in Case FIR No. 05/2018 P/s ACB U/S 5(1) (d) P.C Act, Svt. 2006 r/w 5(2) and Sec. 4-A (Amendment Act) 2014 , against Parvaiz Ahmad Siraj SO FCS & CA office Srinagar, on the allegations of demand and acceptance a bribe of Rs. 2000/- from the complainant namely Mohammad Altaf Dar S/o Mohammad Abdullah Dar R/o Arigam in connection with processing of time bound promotion case of the complainant. The accused was caught red-handed while demanding and accepting a bribe of Rs.2000/- on 2nd March 2018.

After completing the investigation of the Case sanction for launching of prosecution of the accused was obtained from the competent authority. While presetting the challan before the Hon’ble Court of Special Judge Anti-Corruption Kashmir the accused was present.



3- FIR Registered against ZEO Anantnag



Police Station ACB, South Kashmir has registered case FIR No. 04/2019 under section 5 (2) of J&K P.C Act Svt. 2006 r/w section 120-B RPC against Shri Ghulam Mohammad Itoo, the then ZEO Anantnag and Smt. Shafiqa Akhter a Rehbar-e-Talem Teacher of Education Department, Zone Anantnag on the basis of outcome of Preliminary Enquiry conducted in the Bureau related to drawl of salary, illegally and fraudulently in favour of said ReT Teacher during the period 2005-2013 which has inflicted monetary loss to the state exchequer. The investigation of case has been set into motion for in-depth probe.
