J&K Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) organized a Vigilance Awareness Workshop for engineers at various levels, including in person (XENs),(AEEs), and (JEs) and subordinate staff of Udhampur-Reasi and others connected virtually from Jammu, Rajouri, Doda, Anantnag and Budgam .
The event took place in the Auditorium of the DC office complex in Reasi witnessed more than 1000 engineers from various department.
DC Reasi, Vishesh Mahajan administered the integrity pledge, in which all dignitaries inclduing SSP ACB Mohammad Rasheed bhat, ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, ADC Kulbushan Khajuria and other participants also took part.
The workshop including Documentary and PPT presentation by AE(ACB) Afeeq Malik on working of ACB, was designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of vigilance practices, ethical standards, and anti-corruption measures in public infrastructure projects. Welcome address and stage was managed by DySP(ACB) Gurmeet Singh .It emphasized the critical role engineers play in maintaining transparency and integrity within the government’s developmental initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion , DC Reasi , Vishesh Mahajan highlighted that purpose of this programme is to raise awareness among engineers about their responsibilities while executing tenders and their work. SSP ACB Reasi-Udhampur Range, Mohd. Rashid Bhat, urged engineers to work with transparency and accountability, and assured that the ACB addresses all genuine grievances.
The event concluded with a commitment from all participants to uphold the principles of integrity, transparency, and vigilance in their work. ADDC Sukhdev Samyal, ADC Kulbushan Khajuria ,ASP Iftikhar Reasi ,XENs , AEE , JE of all departments were present.
