Campaign for vigilance awareness is being carried out by ACB JK

Campaign for vigilance awareness is being carried out by ACB JK and in this endeavour this year ACBs one of the initiatives will be to engage law students of reputed universities of UT of J and K. The law students will act as interns and will undergo special internship programme in various assigned government departments.

The objective of this programme of ACB is to expose our young generation to the working of these departments which are critical to service delivery and to assess and comment upon the transparency being observed by these departments in their public dealings.

The interns for this purpose were briefed regarding the task by Director ACB separately at Srinagar and Jammu.He explained them regarding the process to be adopted for internship and to prepare reports at the end.He also emphasised in his briefing that the observations particularly on the disposal of complaints and adoption of e- governance initiatives be recorded so that a consolidated report is submitted to the Govtout.

At the end the Director ACB JK thanked the universities vice chancellor’s and students for participation in the said initiative.
